I just got home from the city center, standing there at the bus stop at 9.30 pm I was admiring the beautiful light. The sun was setting, an hour before sunset and it lit the buildings beautifully. The bus ride has amazing scenery along Pyynikki ridge, you can see both lakes that surround Tampere.
Hopping off the bus and walking home was enjoyable too; birds chirping and it smells so good outside. It was even better in the morning after the rain. Being here is really a joy to the senses, I'm re-discovering many wonderful things I have completely forgotten in Vancouver. I wish I could spend the whole summer here...
